Hector recently came to my photography studio in Rugeley for his newborn photoshoot!  His big sister also came along for a few photos, they were both so well behaved

I love photographing newborn babies, the best time for the photo session is in the first couple of weeks while baby is nice and sleepy, although I have photographed them up until around 5 weeks of age unless baby was premature and then this allows me to do the photoshoots when baby is even older
Babies that are too old for a newborn photoshoot are able to be included in a family photoshoot which could be an assortment of just baby or with Mum/Dad and any siblings. At this age we are still able to get a beautiful assortment of photos of your baby but baby is more likely to be awake during the session

I also take maternity images, you are pregnant for such a short period so its nice to capture that time as its so easily forgotten
I have lots of maternity dresses that can be used so you don’t need to purchase anything specially for the session but if there is something that you have that would work then its fine to bring it along to the photoshoot

The dresses are specially mad for photoshoots and are nice and stretchy to allow for different sizes

Lots of people say that they wouldn’t know how to pose for maternity photos but I will guide you and I will use the best lighting to get nice flattering images
The photos can be edited as much as you like, some people like to show off their stretch marks but others prefer me to edit them out, its entirely up to you
