I pencil you into my diary upon booking your newborn photoshoot.

It is best to book your photography session in advance to ensure availability as I can only fit in a certain amount of newborn photoshoots in each month.
You do not have to worry about baby arriving early or later than the due date as I always leave space in my diary to allow for this. Babies generally arrive when it suits them!
If you let me know after baby has made an arrival we will plan a day within the first couple of weeks.

Newborn sessions generally take between two – three and a half hours, feel free to bring yourself a snack in case you get hungry.
You can just sit back and relax while I take photos of your beautiful baby. Occasionally during the photoshoot I may need your assistance to help support baby in certain poses as newborn safety is my number one priority!

If you have a dummy please bring it to the session and remember to bring plenty of milk as babies tend get more hungry than they usually would during the session and also bring plenty or nappies.

During a newborn shoot my studio is kept quite warm so I recommend wearing layers so you can take some off if you need to

I take a variety of photos during your photoshoot using colours and props that you have chosen, babies pee and poo including on me! you don’t need to feel guilty about this as I am used to it

You, Dad and any siblings can be included in the photoshoot
Its best to wear plain neutral clothing in similar tones avoiding large logos

I look forward to meet you soon.

I have a cosy photography studio based in Rugeley, Staffordshire

I have an assortment of props that can be used for the photoshoots but if you would rather keep the photoshoot simple than that’s fine
I have recently been adding to my collection or maternity dresses and scarfs so you can take your pick from my collection
Maternity photoshoots can include Dad and siblings

I also do cake smash & splash photography! It’s a really good way to get a nice assortment of photos of your one year old!
You can either bring your own cake or I can arrange one from. local baker who charges £25 for a giant cupcake to match the scene that you can choose from my website

After the cake smash we do a little bubble bath session which generally is a one year olds favourite part of a cake smash, this helps wash away the cake and allows us to get a nice variety of photos!

I prefer to do the birthday shoots a week or so before the day so you have the images back for the big day
